English Translation

The Minister of State, like him, had issued a document prohibiting the hunting of officials in the area of the Protectorate. This measure particularly affected Germans, because they were mostly owners of hunting. It has often occurred that high-ranking German officials hunted three times a week, neglected their work, wasted Benżin and fuel, and unnecessarily irritated the Czech rural population. This would now be prohibited; however, it would remain to be seen whether the moral attitude of certain Germans would be so good that they would actually observe the ban on hunting. One should only be surprised that there are still so many Germans who behave as if the war were nothing at all about them. However, this is a bad example for the Czech people. Speaking on the frontline, the minister declared that he saw the situation as very serious.
