L82 - $ - offer. Two Hitler's emissaries came to Prague. The meetings took place on the 1st October, and on the 8th December. They presented the contract with Poland and thus wanted to move Czechoslovakia to the same step.Benesh asked if he would not have to start his relationship with England and France. In the event of a conflict between Germany and England, for example, Czechoslovakia will not be at the side of the Allies. Nor did they consider it necessary to withdraw from the League of Nations, because Czechoslovakia would not have to comply with its obligations in the case of a dispute. If something should be done in the League of Nations against Germany, then one will not participate. Another betrayal that Czechoslovakia should commit. Dr. Benesch experienced how Hitler built everything on Lug and Trug. Benesch intended a pact, not such a dishonorable one as Hitler proposed, but one that could be reconciled with the Treaty of Dovarno, and where Dr. Benesch had been able to maintain his relations with England. Such a pact would have been of great political success for Czechoslovakia. But Benesch did not answer, although he often did so, especially since he also turned to the German envoy in Prague, Eisenlohr, and asked him to speed up the answer. In the year l938, Dr. Benesch warned, because he knew that everything that came from the Nazis was lying, wrong, mean and raw. He knew that promises were never kept, because that is not in the sense of the National Socialism. Dr. Benesch knew that Hitler and the Nazis who wanted Czechoslovakia to have isolated them in order to destroy them. Today they are doing exactly the same with Romania and Bulgaria. Benesch knew about the war plans of Germany and warned where he could not get involved with Hitler. Since this was known in Berlin, Czechoslovakia and its system had to be destroyed. Today, however, it is known that Benesch had recognized the dangers of Hitlerism. What we have done, the Göbbels propaganda itself does not get out of the world with the sweetest words. You yourselves always knew that Dr. Benesch always wanted your best and wanted it to go on today. How could damels have responded to such a treacherous treaty, which he should keep completely secret? Because Hitler himself said that no one should know about it, not even the ministers. In Berlin such a thing may be possible, but in Prague not. Because Dr. Beneseh was unwilling to do something behind the backs of his ministers, which is the truth about Hitler's alliance policy with Czechoslovakia.
