Cad Under-State Secretary Dr.v.Burgsdorff has announced that he attaches great importance to the fact that his position remains anchored in the budget of the German State Ministry for Bohemia and Moravia. Since I am of a different opinion, I have contacted Dr.Lammers, Minister of the Reich. Reichsminister Lammers has indicated that he considers it expedient to place the post of Under-Secretary of State v.Burgsdorff on the budget of the Reichs Ministry of the Interior, as provided for by the Governor of Krakow, and bear no concern if I take the necessary measures. However, this provision seems to contradict the Reich Ministry of Interior. In a meeting with the Director-General of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. van Helms said that the post should in any case remain in the budget of the German Ministry of State.
