English Translation

Annex 2 The proposed collection of legal provisions of the Protectorate is intended primarily to address the existing practical need for a systematic order of laws adopted in the various fields of legal, administrative and economic life. With regard to the scope of the laws and regulations adopted, a literal copy of the legislation will only be possible to a relatively small extent; the vast majority of the law will only have a systematic order and can be identified by indicating the title and the sources. The owners of the new collection company will therefore continue to be forced to use the legal documents or the "Prague Archive", which publishes the legal provisions to a much greater extent, during practical work. The main value of the collection work lies in the systematic order of the legal provisions in a handy volume and in the resulting possibility for the practitioner to quickly find a sought-after legal provision at least by date and location. Therefore, the collection does not represent a competition to the existing "Prager Archive". On the contrary, the "Prager Archive" can provide a valuable supplement to the user of the collection.
