Dr. Gipera, board member of the Bata A.G., appeared to me yesterday afternoon to thank me for the special thanks of the family Bata and the board of Bata a.g. for my personal participation in the funeral of the injured Hlavnička. He explains= te, "he wants to make few words and express the thanks of Bata by the fact that the company assures me that all its strength will continue to be at the service of the German war economy. Every wink of me will find so= fortifying attention. The entire board of the Bata Group guarantees this. Jm rests, he takes over Bata A.G. in place of Bata in the future in peace and order. He, Čipera., has now worked at Bata for 25 years and has been the first procurator of Thomas Bata, when the company still had 3oco members. The Bata workforce was therefore well known and he was quite familiar with it. However, this did not apply to M 1043 the newly added labour force in recent months, eisgsi which posed a particular problem for the Burma and which was difficult to fit into the Bata community. It is han= del&, as I would know, about forces that would never have been set at Bata in nor= times." Jch replied, I took knowledge of his explanation with satisfaction and could only repeat what I had to say= fl.f x%-1/43. m 31.5.n.3.6.g.Rnd St x%-1e/43
