The decision on the award is taken by the dean of the faculty - in this case, dean Becking - after consulting the faculty committee.The decision requires the rector's approval.The rector must report to the Minister of Education of the Reich.The procedure may only be carried out as soon as the Minister for Education has informed him that he does not intend to exercise his right of objection.
