Baumeisterprüfungen in Böhmen und Mähren. Complaint of H.Weisinger. To the office of Mr. State Secretary. The information of the complaint was examined by the state authorities in Prague and Brno with the following result: Former professors of Czech universities were still working as examination officers. In 1937, at the Baumeisterprüfungen in Prague: 49.7%, 1938: 56.1%, 1939: 48.2%, 1940: 43%, 1941:41.4%, 1942: 48.57% of all candidates tested did not pass the exams. In Brno, in 194o 66%, in 1941 57% of the candidates did not passed the Baumasterprüfe. In Prague, 18 examiners were examined from the ranks of the former Czechoslovak officers and 1o of them passed the examination. In no case could personal relations between candidates and examiners be established, which led to the preference of some candidates. In Prague, in 1939 - 1942, only one master carpenter / Josef Havlik from Budweis/ was admitted to the master builder's exam. He did not pass the exam. In Brno, no master builders have registered for the master constructor's examination in the last 4 years. In no case could it be proved that the candidates were recommended to pass the examination as soon as possible, because later the master builder tests had to be carried out in German. Based on the reports of the state authorities in Prague and Brno, there is no reason to revise the results of the master constructor test. The National Association of Builders' Cooperatives in Prague has requested changes in the composition of the Examination Commission for Prague in agreement with the Central Association of Craftsmen.
