Prag. ia Duhmaa mütren Cg - 6. APR. 1943 Dear Ministerialrat ! We have requested the opening of a post-check account at the Post Office in Prague, but we have been informed that this would require the approval of the government, and we do not fail to believe that Mr Mini- sterialrat is concerned that the exclusion of our activities to the Protectorate could impose a financial burden on the population. To this end, we allow ourselves the communication that we begin our activity in the Protectorate immediately with a practical work, namely with the expansion of the soldier cemetery of l866 near Böhm.-Skalitz. The Reichskriegerbund sent us a report to the monumentist Prague, according to which this cemetery threatens to decay. In the report it was mentioned that already in the past years a estimate of 7ooo Kr had been submitted to the Ministry. After consultation with Prof. Kühn of the Monument Office Prague we immediately contacted the questionable places in Böhm.-Skalitz and Nachod and immediately started the expansion of the cemetery. In addition to this practical work, we cultivate in particular the mental care of the bereaved fallen persons. We are already from the Protectorate thanks letter of the Inhalts, that it was comfort and relief in their pain to the survivors to know that the place they dear to them has been taken by us into faithful care and care. We pay half of the costs for the wreath deposits and the production of light images that we have carried out, and we do so free of charge for fewer people. We ask the Minister's Council to see from this that we are not an association in the usual sense and are only concerned with the promotion of members, but that we see our most noble and most beautiful task in establishing our organization in the occupied territories, in order to carry out practical work and to help in this difficult time to alleviate some arduous pain. We hope, therefore, that we will not have done any wrong if we ask for permission to open a postal cheque account. The certificate for the Post Office would suffice in a simple form, such as that there are no doubts about the opening of the account. Should a return language be necessary, we are very gladly prepared and bitterly to send us a request. Heil Hitler ! Dolksbund Deutsche Kriegsgeäberfürforge e. D. .X1B-18 b/43CMvArvpe2
