18 THE INTENDANT OF THE BOHMEN PRAG, 12 December 1940. I/S1. State Secretary f1712. $dd K. H.Fra n k, Prague Czernin Palais Dear Secretary of State ! For about three months the Reichsssender Böhmen has been sending a "radio field post letter" to the soldiers as well as to the homeland every Sunday. A radio station post letter, which maintains the connection between the homeland of the soldiers in the Protectorate and in the Sudetengau and is intended to be the mouthpiece for them, through which they will soon learn all the things they need to know from home. This radio station mail letter will be broadcast in extended form on the first Christmas day from 9 o'clock to lo.oo o' clock. If, in addition to the actual events, especially the poets of our time have spoken, then the Reichsmittel Böhmen wants to make short cordial words of the leading political personalities of his broadcasting area sound to the soldiers on the front as well as to the home garrisons at Christmas. I would therefore like to ask you, Mr President-in-Office of the Council, to make a contribution to this programme, as long as we propose a half-letter page. In order to give special weight to the words of the personalities, the text of these Christmas greetings is not to be read by us, but to be spoken of by the personalities themselves on record before the show for the first Christmas holiday at 9.00 o'clock. $T}2
