No.... as I understand it, is the request of the Protectorate Government, Dr. Josef P i c k, on whose matter your letter dated 15 October 1940, St. P. 544/40, as well as my affidavit dated 6 November 1940, No. R 9522/40, in accordance with § 3 of Reg.Vdg. of 4 July 1939, No. l36 Coll.•, from which the scope of this regulation is excluded, may the Reichsprotektor raise objections in connection with some similar cases /No. I 3 b-9524 of 9 December 1940/. It has therefore become questionable whether the objective pursued can be achieved in the way you have indicated in your letter referred to at the outset. However, I hope that it will succeed in bringing forward the objections to a solution which will enable the Pick case to be dealt with in a favourable manner.
