A3: An: Das Ers,-Btl. ý "Deutschland" reports an incident that occurred on 25.9.1941 in Rusin. On 25.9.41 the 1⁄2 main squadron leader Hieber, Stabskomp. (E) 4 "D" at the final station of line 22 Rusins went to the barracks. He used the main road towards Karlovy Vary. About 1 km. behind the end station he struck a peld road to get to the kaserne faster. 15o mtr., before the path leads back to the main road, he noticed in a bushes a person who, after the 4-H's leader Hieber had arrived, gave a whistle of himself. Due to previous attacks on 4-members the main squadron leader suspected a raid and made his pistol ready. When he returned to the main road, he was lit with a flashlight from the right side of the street, and as he felt threatened at that moment, he fired two shock shots. According to his own statements, he did not intend to hurt anyone. One of these two shots, however, hit a Czech police officer, who had lit the main guard with the flashlight, in the left lower leg.
