The afforestation work, after the experiment of the previous year had succeeded, saw (about looo schools with several thousand classes and many tens of thousands of pupils in use. The number of abandoned forest trees amounts to many million. The use of the school youth in the harvest aid plants and in the pest control took place in the year l943 i.m.
