Although time and again the reserved, often even more than reserved attitude of the Czech teacherry is noticeable, one cannot completely pass by the co-operation expressed by the war operation, which at least shows that our attempts of education to the idea of the empire are not completely unsuccessful. The size of the a1s German school system is approximately one twenty-fiveth of the Czech school system, and its performance in the use of war is not proportionally higher. The old= and waste material collection of the schools, including the extraordinary waste paper collections from 1st January 1942 to 31st December 1943, yielded about 45 million kg of waste material. Of this quantity, only about 1 million kg were collected in the period from 1 July 1942 to 3 December 1943, after the reorganization of the collection 5.StM-IV-0-96 full St.M. 1 0-96/44 yy
