The Minister of Welfare of the protectorate government, Mr. Dr. Klompar, arrived in Munich on 1 July with the gentlemen of his escort in order to study the institutions in the field of social policy and employment. I gave the gentlemen a breakfast in my home on July 2, to which I had asked leading figures of the party, state and economy. I welcomed the guests and pointed out in particular the importance of social thought in people's lives. In doing so, I expressed the joy of seeing from the visit the feeling of the association of the inhabitants of the Protectorate with the Great German Reich. The mutual getting to know each other is the best means. the inner connection between the protectorate and the Great Germany even more expand. Minister Dr. Klumpar thanked for the friendly welcome and also stressed the need to develop the close links between the Protectorate and the Great German Reich even more.
