114 - 4 - 114 The life of Kotinsky in the period from 1926 to l937 is largely unclear. According to his own information, he worked as a fencing teacher until the year l933 in various West German cities, such as Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Essen, Krefeld etc.. He always moved in the circles of the higher society and had sufficient funds. In 1937, he returned to Czechoslovakia and opened a fencing school in Prague. A month later, he was arrested for fraud committed in the ČsR area and charged by the prosecutor's office at the district criminal court. On the basis of the criminal acts taken in the territory of the Czechoslovak Republic, Kotinsky was sentenced to a sentence of 2 1/2 years in prison, aggravated by fasting and by the loss of the right to vote. He lost the sentence in the detention centre for juvenile criminals in Gitschin to one part. Taking into account the disease protected by his wife and with regard to his family circumstances, he was released on 6 May 1939 under the forbearance of GSG of the penalty of 8 months and 28 days conditionally. The crimes of Kotinsky mentioned so far have been proven by the Frogesses in Prague, which have been carried out before the District Criminal Court. In addition, a large number of other property offences have to be charged to the person mentioned, for whose review no judicial proceedings have yet taken place. In Archanglsk, he is said to have lured out a large sum of money under the promise to buy his son from the Bolshevik captivity. Another overview of his criminal curriculum vitae is provided by a shortened extract from the files of the Czech state police on Kotinksky, which is enclosed in the annex.
