STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 2004, sig. 109-7/11
English Translation
As a result, the Czech population will always see only a symbol of the legionary movement in the monument of the unrecognized soldier in Prague, even though the outer emblems of the Legionary movement have now been removed. I am therefore of the opinion that for the members of the German Wehrmacht the duty of greeting must be lifted before the memorial of the unrecognized soldier in Prague; because of the fundamental importance of such a writing, I should like to ask that the matter be dealt with in a uniform manner from there. In my opinion, it would be safe if the obligation of greeting for the supporters of the German Wehrmacht, while avoiding public announcement, were to be lifted by internal order of the military commanders.
