Prag 0h.06h b/6b Betr.: se t ta seSts Busau. Vorg.: There. Notes: 1 portfolio. As it became known here, Archduke Eugen seems to have been the property of the works of art, for he brought them to Busau when entering the Order. He had inherited them partly from the possession of his uncle, the Duke Wilheln, or had bought them together in the course of a long-standing collector's activity throughout Europe. In 1935 negotiations were initiated by the Order to buy back the confiscated works of art and, in fact, most of the works were bought back at the inventory price, certain pieces belonging to the history of the Order were re-acquired free of charge. 18 pictures and 4 sculptures of special value, which could not be bought back because of the too high price, were transferred to the castle Konopischt near Prague, where two more pictures were given in 1937. After completion of the still ongoing investigation is reported unrequested. i.G. Awabi f29 h4-Hauptfturmführer T
