- 24 - XE The text of the new regulation supplementing the War Economic Regulation of 25 March 1942 (RGBl. I, p.147) is annexed. 38. Amendment of the Gaststättengesetz. By the regulation amending the Gasstättsgesetz of 24 November 1941 (Rgesetzl.I, p.769) the following new no.7 has been added in § 16 (1) of the Restaurant Act? "7.) It is prohibited to tolerate uniformed members of the Wehrmacht, the police, the Reichsarbeitsdienst and the National Socialist Workers' Party, their associations and associations in hospitality and commerce, whose visit is prohibited by the competent departments after notification to the owner or his deputy, or to follow food or drink to them." § 16 also received the following new paragraph 2: " (2) The owners of restaurants which are prohibited for uniform carriers (cf. Paragraph 1 no.7), or their representatives are obliged to immediately point out the existing ban to uniform carriers entering the restaurant." Violations against § 16 are punished according to § 29 no. 8 of the Gaststättengesetz. Perpetrators may be not only the owner, his representative or a senior employee, but also the waiter. 39. Intensified penalties for presumption of office, etc. Again and again criminals have disguised themselves as police officers, W-members or Wehrmacht members when committing serious crimes. Therefore, the Council of Ministers for the Defense of the Reich issued a V0 of 9 April 1942 (RGBl.
