Prague, September 19, 1939. The Imperial Protector in Bohemia and Moravia. Švehla-Ufer 16. Call : 640-45. Bo 2 Reference number : Wehrwirtschaft E 500a/39. In order to ensure an even supply of the household by the food business, in the next few days in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia by the Czech authorities a binding of the households to certain food shops (meat, milk and butter shops, etc.) is carried out by means of food master cards issued and certified by the municipal authorities. The food master cards (household lists) certified by the municipalities entitle the household to register as a customer at the shops chosen by the household for the individual products. The procedure is announced in the press upon introduction. For various reasons, the Wehrmacht, the police and the Reichsdeutschen officials and employees of the Reich Protector and its groups, as well as the subordinate departments, the receipt of the Lebensmittelstammkarten and their certification by the Czech authorities will be eliminated. The following rules are therefore applied to the scope of these budgetings: 1.) Households of Wehrmacht members, members of the police and security police, as well as of Reichsdeutsche civil servants and employees at the Reichsprotector and its subordinate posts, receive the food master cards (household lists) from their department. 2.) The department shall request from the competent Oberlandrat the required number of food master cards (original and copy form), have them completed by the requesting householdations and certify the original and copy by means of a stamp. 3.) The certified copies of the food master cards must be returned to the Oberlandrat for registration, administration and control. $\C$
