On Tuesday, the 6th M., Mr. Ministerial Councillor Dr. Bertsch said that he had heard that a meeting on the metal industry was taking place, which was of crucial importance for the overall further development of wage policy for the metalworking industry of the Protectorate.The signatory replied that the meeting on forthcoming wage developments in the metalwork industry was still held on the same day. Bertsch then informed that he, as Head of Division, had to reserve the decision on what would be decided at the meeting because of the importance of the matter. Bertsch said that he considered the wage regulation in the metalworking industry to be so extremely important because of its impact that he felt it was best for the group leader to lead the meeting. However, Bertsch did not object that the undersigned was in charge of the meeting and asked for information on the outcome of the session, which has now been done by telephonic means. 2.)
