- 2- 43 time will depend on the domestic production of animal fats and therefore everything has to be done to support this production. In the price consultations, whether it is milk, butter pigs or fat, we encounter difficulties, since no higher price is granted to us and the conditions in the rich are pointed out. There, however, in peacetime, what we are supposed to do in times of war was carried out, and we believe that our consumers would like to pay one or two more people if they could only get a sufficient amount of fat, at least one that should be delivered on the reference cards. In order to alleviate the critical situation, we request that we be given the consent to chew in south-eastern Europe a sufficient quantity of fat pigs and fat as long as this product is still available there. As regards fat, we succeeded in ensuring with the German authorities that we were given the consent to purchase l.ooo tonnes of swine fat at the price of l8.30 dinars in Yugoslavia. Similarly, we should also proceed with the authorisation of the import of baconi pigs. We will return in the next few days with specific requests for the matter.
