Since the entry into force of the foreign exchange agreement with Bata has been substantially reduced by the restriction of ex port possibilities, it has submitted an application to free it from the special delivery of foreign currency on the basis of the May Agreement until further notice. This request had to be rejected after careful examination at the time because the findings showed that the company is still able to fulfil the obligation to deliver the foreign exchange. Moreover, the foreign exchange flows of the five large companies are monitored centrally by the export control of the National Bank on the basis of the export declarations submitted and the declarations of receipts of payments. An examination of whether the notifications submitted are correct, in particular whether the quantities and revenues are correctly stated and calculated, cannot be carried out by the export control. A significant risk that part of the export earnings will remain abroad is not likely to exist with the companies Škoda-Werke, Witkowitzer Eisenwerke, Waffenfabrik Brünn and Poldihütte, as the German influence on these companies has increased considerably. With the company Bata is from the Reichsprotektor as authorized director at the Reich bank Dr. Bernhuber, who oversees the company's operations. A foreign exchange audit carried out at the company Bata in the summer of last year by two auditors of the Reichsbank in cooperation with the People's German Lord of Asboth, who is familiar with Czech relations, Director of the German Agricultural and Industrial Bank.
