N. /229 State Secretary to the Reichsprotektor in Böhmen and Mänren SS group leader K. H. Fr a n k, Prague Betr.: Purchasing of the SS and police with Czechs. The communication made in the above letter was examined in detail by the local service, namely S o c h u r e k, N e c h v a t a l & Co. in Triesch near Iglau. The connection with this company was established, because the field grey overcoats had to be created very quickly and similar and equally efficient German companies were not available. The Wehrmacht authorities have not yet been able to determine which orders were placed, since these orders were carried out directly by Berlin. The Schutzpolizei has given its orders to the Pirma Rudolf B a r t u n e k, factory of fine woollen fabrics and tailoring company, Triesch b. Iglau. The owner of this Pirma was and has always been loyal to the Germans. He used to have large deliveries for the Czech military. Here, too, the especially St. S. ̄ G1
