According to Deputy Prime Minister K r e j č í, the German proposal to reduce the number of protectorate ministries was of the greatest difficulty. The reason for this was that the merger of ministries would create too much unrest, so it was preferable to unite several ministries in the hands of one minister, but to leave the number of ministries unchanged. In reality, however, in these considerations, the desire of the protectorate ministers to maintain their position under all circumstances, and for this reason, the conversion negotiations should also complicate themselves. Furthermore, Minister Krejčí stated that the allegedly of 1⁄2-group leader K.H. F r a , as the new Prime Minister proposed large industrialists K r u 1 i š - R a n d a had been rejected by the members of the Protectorate government because as a representative of the heavy industry he had no attachment to the broad masses of the working people. On the other hand, since the head of the National Community, Ritter von F o u s e k, had also been rejected as a new Prime Minister, it is not clear who should be entrusted with the formation of the government.
