terrified, uncompromising national socialist attitude for Germanism and especially for the universities. Rector Buntru is in the same way regarded and loved by his colleagues as with the student community. He conducts his official business prudently and effortlessly, so that a woohsel in the present time would certainly not go without difficulties. In addition, he guarantees an excellent relationship between the university and the NSDaP. The same also applies to his work in Tetschen-Liebwerd. As I assume that similar problems will arise at other universities and a similar arrangement will be considered, I would ask you, Mr Reichsminieter, to agree with my proposal that Prof. Buntru is either left as rector or, if this is not possible, is again entrusted with the rectorate of the German Teohniechen University of Prague and the German Technical University of Tetschen-Liebwerd after his abdication. I believe that this proposal must be particularly comprehensive, especially since I am not aware of any more dignified and suitable person for this post. I would like to ask you for a brief answer. With warm greetings and salvation Hitler! Konrad H e n l e n . V0-d-259
