Individual processes: 1.) Czech collection of property... The collection result of the approximately 170000 Czech inhabitants of the city of Groß-Ostrau so far amounts to 84638 pieces. In Wall.-Meşeritsch (OLB Moravian-Ostrava) the leader of a Czech right-wing opposition group was not invited to participate in the collection, probably because he had by far the best result with his group in the former collection of coloured metal. In Pilgrams (OLb Tabor), the number of pieces collected amounts to about 88% of the population, in Beching(Bez. Tabor)54%. In Pilgrams, the collectors of the NG, in order to be able to show a greater success, have indicated the double number of the collected pairs as the number of pieces. In Iglau, the Czech collection closed on 15 January with 8768 pieces, including only 1 pair of skis. As far as this result was known among Germans, it caused great indignation; it is often demanded that the Czechs should be banned from skiing at all. From various areas it is reported that the German and the Czech population were indignant about it, that still many Jews were found with fur and wool. In the meantime, when the general confiscation of these objects from Jewish possession became known, this measure was also accepted by many Czechs. The following Czech results are reported from the tiny districts of the OLB Klattau: - 2 -
