38 Special Report on the Political Situation in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia for the period from 15.3. to 10.4.1941. On 7.d.M., the Reichspropaganda Ministry (Department of Foreign Affairs) expressed the wish to obtain the opinion of leading Czech figures on events in the South East for use in the foreign press. The responsible head of department then turned to the Office of the Reichsprotektor, Ministerial Council v. Gregory, with my admission to the Czech editor-in-chief of the "Večer" called Krychtalek, known in the Protectorate, who is regarded as a Yugoslavian expert, advised him to conduct three short interviews with Czech ministers Havelka, Ježek and Krejči about the events in the south-east and to touch the situation of the Protectorates in the Great German Reich. In carrying out this task, Krychtalek informed the Czech Prime Minister Eliáš on the same day and presented the following two questions to the three ministers: " 1.)
