mo1a Vl m PMASNBLEASAESAEE support. My efforts with the Herr Reichsforstmeister have always aimed to get the Reichsinstitut to Prague or to the vicinity of Prague, in order to create an important forest centre in Prague and, if necessary, to attract students here in cooperation with the possible establishment of a forestry faculty at the Prague University. A suitable test sin would be given near Brandeis a.d.E. in the extent of about 50 - 70 ha. The foundation of the Reich Institute, however, fails under the present time conditions because of the difficulties of the procurement of building materials to the construction of a suitable institute building. This could be found in the sanatorium Houstka / northeast of Brandeis./ at least for a certain transitional period, until after the war a new building can be thought of. It is an old hunting lodge, on which 2 floors have been placed. The building, which the Dr. Skorkovsky in Prague XII, according to the team II y Major oJ u r k /, is intended to serve bomb-damaged families from the Reich as accommodation: I ask for a decision whether the sanatorium building could be further expanded for the purposes of the Reich Institute - it would be in general only minor structural changes - and could be made available for the purpose of the Imperial Institute.
