(heloni am, ebile Uatage w 16. ty (444) The Managing Director of the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Vissenschaften in Berlin 0 2, Schloss, sent me a copy of a letter from the President of the Imperial Wilhelm Society dated 3 April 1984, addressed to the Minister of State personally, which shows that on the part of the General Administration of the Emperor Wilhelm Society the above-mentioned object has been described as very suitable for the purposes of the Institute. The letter goes on to say: "The Kaiser Wilhelm Society is ready to build the Institute for Forestry Plant Breeding on this site, assuming that its premises and buildings will be left to property, at the expense of the rich, as has happened in a number of cases. If the particular reasons were not met, the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gesellschaft would take over the acquisition of the site financially itself. In this case, an only rent or leased and therefore not definitive transfer of land and buildings is not sufficient, since substantial investments in the institution's establishment must be expected.
