22 Pest performance at the Deutsche Opernhaus on 15 March, 8 p.m. The efforts to commit an opera from Dresden, Vienna, Munich,Ber-lin to Prague for this day have failed in terms of ter min and cost issues. Therefore, the festive performance must be contested by the Deutsche Theatern Prague. From their repertoire only Goethe's "Iphigenie auf Tauris" is eligible. Invitations to this festive performance do not take place; it takes place within the framework of the theatre play plan. However, in order to highlight the festive character, the German Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of General Music Director Joseph Keilberth, will open the evening with an overture. The orchestra was originally committed to the grand rally of the NSDAP; after consultation with GAL Weibezahn, the latter decided on the musical procession of the commanderate of Prague recommended by Dr. Ludwig for this purpose, thus making the orchestra free for the festive performance on the same evening.
