English Translation
- 2 - 5y commanders, the police president in Prague and the board members of the police authorities and the government police authorities took part. The advance of this consultation, where I have again emphasized to the present the scope and importance of the task entrusted to me and entrusted it with the arrangement of as careful a duty as possible, Annex B/ is apparent from the enclosed minutes. At my request, the Government of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, at the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 13 October 1994 and the members of the Government, in whose sphere of activity the control of supply belongs, also dealt with the injunctions to strengthen the monitoring of the food agenda. They have already issued strict orders to ensure that the inspection service is carried out with all the necessary powers, without limitation to the regular hours of office and with the greatest possible rigour. On the basis of the above instructions, the Ministry of the Interior has drawn up a draft government decree on the powers of the Minister of the Home Affairs in the field of control in food, supply and price matters, which will be submitted to the Government of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia for approval. The text of Annex C to the draft Regulation is attached. With regard to nutrition, supply and price formation, I would like to presume that I have been reminded of the deficiencies in your letter referred to above, and that I can see that the previous regulations do not fully cover the way of the products from the manufacturer to the consumer; I also see these shortcomings in the fact that so far it has not been possible to record the quantity of products already in existence or which are to be produced to the extent that not a part of it falls into the slip-trade. The economic control service has only a repressive character, but if the above conditions are met, the operation of that control service would be considerably simplified.
