However , the number of legal entities experienced a significant reduction . It must be assumed that the higher technicians are so familiar with the building police and other relevant regulations that they are able to carry out the construction police procedure in principle without legal assistance and that lawyers are only to be drawn for legally more difficult questions and for the criminal proceedings in case of violations of the building regulations. The procedure for granting tax relief of house repairs has been taken over by the Housing and Settlement Office to the Building Police Office. The Construction Police Office is divided into the 4 departments : 530 - General Administration , 53l - Legal Department , 532 - Building Permit and Construction Control ,533 - Property Estimates . In Division 530, only general administrative matters are to be dealt with and the building archive is to be run. In the Legal Division, above all, general legal matters will be handled, more technical issues will be addressed and criminal proceedings will be carried out. Division 532 building permits and building control will be divided into three sub-divisions. In sub-division 53lo, the emphasis is on the tasks of the Office, namely the procedure for the approval of the building, as well as on the control of the construction. For these tasks, the urban area is to be divided into 5 districts. Each district is to be equipped with an ateite group, which procures all the transactions related to the approval procedure and the construction control under the direction and responsibility of the group leader. Special sub-divisions have been provided for statistical operations and the maintenance of buildings for the purposes of the establishment plan, since these tasks are to be dealt with in a specialised manner and for which they are to receive special attention.
