153 006 - Branches of the city administration. The city area is divided into 1 9 administrative districts. Districts I to VI are administered by the central branches of the town. Districtes VII to XIX consist of branches of city administration• These are successors of the former magistrate services. The conversion took place on l.l.l942 and was the result of a considerable limitation of the former scope of tasks . The tasks of the Magistrate services were different. The Council's role in the field of political affairs was limited only to the departments of the Council of Ministers for the regions VIII, XI, XII, XIV, XVI and XIX, while the other departments were mainly limited to matters of self-government. 3. the assessment of charges; 4. the cash registers and accounting offices; 5. the enforcement service; in the field of commercial police, the branches will be limited to surveys and reports for the commercial office. This investigative service, however, will be very inexhaustible in individual districts. Due to lack of space, it has not yet been possible to summarise the assessment of taxes at the Städt. Steueramt. For the same reason, the Hauptrechnungsamt has not been able to take over the cash offices and accounting offices of the branches. Since the summary of these tasks can always be expected from the central services in the foreseeable future, the powers required for their performance will be provided for by the central departments.
