The Commander of the Security Police and SD Prague, October 24th ..19.41 XIX., Among the Chestnuts 19. - I - 3127/41 Dueo of the State Secretary Tgb. Rr. B. d. S. Bitt to indicate the above sign and date in response to the Imperial Protector in Bohemia and Märten. Eing.: 29.OKT. 1941 TgB. No.: To the Ofuf, Office of the Secretary of State for the 4y-Obersturmbannführer Dr. G i e s, in Prague. I am adding the case concerning identification of the Jews, exceptional treatment of Jewish wives former Austrian officers. According to § 3 of the police order of 12.9.4l these Jewish wives would have been excluded from the identification with regard to the still living spouses. This exception is still valid today in the Protectorate provided that the Aryan spouse is a German national. However, these Jewish women have to pass to the Jewish Star if the spouse is merely a protectorate member. This tightening was decreed by 4-up leader Heydrich with decree of 29.9.194l - I - l66l/41. Exceptions have not been made here so far, because in principle exceptions to the regulation had to be rejected in the Reich as well as in the Protectorate. An earlier entry did not go to me. I therefore do not see myself in a position to have any exceptions here. Certified: Firm employee. V A St. S.1-25 a1 4.
