The foundation of a German-Außländische Academic Association in Prague and Brno is also considered politically necessary from here. With the representative of the Reichsstudentenführer for the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia,Gaustudenten- führer Kiesel, the complex of German-foreign academic associations has been continuously discussed. e However, the question of establishing a German-Ausland Academic Association is only useful if foreign students are still allowed to attend the universities of the Protectorates in the future. From this point of view, further studies of foreigners in Prague and Brno and thus also the formation of a German-foreign academics' association for the following reasons are supported: 1.) The universities of Prague and Brünn have become a certain place of study for the south-eastern peoples, especially for the Bulgarians. It would have extremely negative consequences if the foreigners suddenly failed to study at the universities of the Protectorate with a more or less scrupulously sought justification. 2.) The German universities in the Protetorat have special tasks to do with regard to south-eastern research and beyond Vienna. The foreigners studying at the German universities, especially the south-east, are of the greatest political importance for the future German cultural policy in the Balkans. St,M 141 TV0-104 a/43b.W.
