99 Annex 3. Letter: To the President Dr. Emil Há c h a , Prague IV Castle . Dear President ! I agree that the remuneration of the protectorate staff in the active service will be increased with effect from ..... to the relevant tables. The tables contain the monthly remuneration for a married person without children with the activity fee for local class A. The activity= fee for the local class B,C and D would be set in such a way that in B 86%, in C 72% and in D 58% of the amounts fixed for the activity charge for local level A are foreseen=. However, this staggering of the activity fee does not allow a staff member to receive less remuneration than he has previously received. The current pension contribution and the current inflation allowances, as well as the Judges' allowance and the service allowances provided for by the Protectorate Police and Government= troupe would be abolished, with the exception of the function allowances for the government troop. I would ask that the measures necessary to carry out this improvement be taken as soon as possible, but it would not be possible to change the current pay system, unless the above points are taken into account. I also agree that the pensions of retired staff who have retired before the entry into force of the new salary scheme will be increased in individual cases.I ask that directives be drawn up and that they be submitted to me before they are adopted.
