Betr.: Spread of pins with richly hostile inscription by Czechs in Iglau. Preliminary report: Report No. 99/42 v.20.8.42, where Mr. v. 10.9.42 Mr. IV C-37/42 The following was noted in the re-examination of the matter: Mrs. Marie Weber, Iglau, Materngasse 20, saw on 17.8. In the morning (not as stated in the daily report at 6 p.m.) at the same time with 4 younger Czechs several un- about 1 - 2 cm2 large pins with the Czech inscription "We do not surrender us to anyone, never" lie on the roadside. The Tgchechen and Mrs Weber who are going to work at the time tried to pick up the pins. However, there has not been any exchange of views between the German woman and the Czechs, or an attempt by the Czech to remove the lifted pin from her again, contrary to the first report. Mrs Weber herself claimed that the 4 Czechs could not be the ones who had scattered the pins. However, it was not in a position to provide information on the names and workplaces of the Czechs. Following previous investigations, it must be assumed that the pins have been scattered over the course of the night. Further cases of ealh spreading of such pins in Iglau have not become known in the meantime. swol, 1-btuembennfübeee St...πC-s7a/42 141
