44 - 4 - IV. Supply of the Wehrmacht. The Reichsmarschall expects that the Wehrenmacht in the Protectorate will now be supplied from the region. So far all grain milling products for the Wehnmacht have been procured in the supply way from the rest of the Reich. For the fourth year of the war, the army administration in Prague initially requested 43 000 tonnes of bread grain. In the event of their delivery, the surplus numbers of the protectorate as stated under I) would decrease accordingly. Furthermore, the military administration requires the supply of 33 000 tonnes oats for the 4th year of war. The current harvest results for fodder cereals do not allow a supply of oats to the Wehrmacht. According to the agreements made at that time with the Reich Food Ministry and the High Command of the Army, the quantities of meat and sausages, butter, bacon, lard and margarine were made available from the Protectorate in advance from February 194l and were constantly refunded from the Reich's stocks. A total of 1 180 tonnes of fat was supplied to the Wehrmacht and its affiliated associations during the war. Taking into account the catastrophic supply situation of the protectorate in the fat area described under II), it is readily apparent that the supply of fat from the rise of the Protectorate to the Wehrmacht is worse impossible without a return from the rest of the Reich.
