English Translation

The delivery of 16 000 tonnes promised at the time at the meeting in Berlin was promised by State Secretary Backe himself. Only after the establishment of the demands of the Reichsmarsch all to the Protectorate this promise was cancelled. Ste already has the effect that, by an instruction from Berlin, every fat delivery to the protectorate with immediate effect, namely by direct instruction to the company Schicht in Aussig, is prohibited. Since the protectorate has thus come into an unsustainable position, especially because of its military tasks, the deputy Reichsprotector explained that he must then reject the guarantee for a further smooth fulfilment of the growing war tasks provided to the protectorates for the area Bohemia and Moravia, unless the given order for the cessation of the fat deliveries is immediately lifted. According to the most rigorous calculations for the current marketing year, the Protectorate needs 81,600 tonnes of fat, a requirement which is lower than the previous year's rates.
