16/71941 Minister of Agriculture Nikolaus Graf von Bubna-Litic : The harvest is approaching. On dfy Bohemian and Moravian fields soon armies of Fleissian workers will join and we will also see this year the image repeating itself from eternity to eternity: the farmer reaps bread for all. The ripening harvest in the fields presents us with the result of hard and hard year-round work and it is a more hopeful prospect for the entire population of our country. We expect our country to carry the grain we need to ensure that the whole population is fed. I believe that the tremendous harvest will fulfil this hope for us and thus, through a victory, will reward the hard struggle of the farmer with the elements of ánd Missgunst Cer time. The farmer who works on the ground, who is our nourisher and maintainer of the physical and mental health of the people, has convinced, especially in this year, all strata of our population that he is a working component of fundamental importance. He mobilized all his forces to ensure the harvest, despite the displeasure of nature, and thus contribute to the preservation and development of the moral, cultural, economic and other values of the people's existence. We were always concerned about this so that in our overall endeavour we sought the necessary conditions for the success of our great work, i.e. It is a matter for us to have our agriculture ./.
