In a personal letter from Mr. Primatorstell&representative to the Army State Secretary was asked to request the Imperial island from the Czech State for the purpose of German sports. I think this proposal is at least premature, since 1. the wishes of the German sports associations are not yet clear, 2. the question is connected with the general planning of German construction projects, in particular with the construction of HJ-Jugendheimen and 3. it is very serious to consider whether an island is suitable for such purposes in the case of the constant risk of flooding.
