About Dr. Lothar Z o t z, who was appointed Professor of Prehistory at the German University in Prague at the beginning of the winter semester 1939/40, is known here: Dr. Zotz was a participant in the war. He received his doctorate in 1924 in Freiburg/Br. in the subjects of prehistory and prehistory, and general natural sciences. In 1926 he became an assistant at the University of Freiburg's Urge History Institute. In 1928 Z. received a scholarship from the Notgemeinschaft der deutschen Wissenschaft.
