About Dr. Lothar Z o t z, who was appointed Professor of Prehistory at the German University in Prague at the beginning of the winter semester 1939/40, is known here: Dr. Zotz was a participant in the war. He received his doctorate in 1924 in Freiburg/Br. in the subjects of prehistory and prehistory, and general natural sciences. In 1926 he became an assistant at the University of Freiburg's Urge History Institute. In 1928 Z. received a scholarship from the Notgemeinschaft der deutschen Wissenschaft. In 1929 he came as an employee to the prehistoric department of the Landesmuseum in Hanover and Wroclaw. Dr. Zotz is regarded as a qualified scientist. He is a good connoisseur of the foregone Central and South-East Europe. He is known for his major publications: 1. Late Germanic Culture of Silesia (Leipzig 1935), 2.
