The coronation with a crown (corona) took place in the same year. Confirmations of this coronations were made: in 1204 by the Pope and in 1212 by the German emperor. Wenceslas I. (1230 - 1253) Son and successor of Primisl Ottokar I., was still crowned in the lifetime of his bater l228 together with his wife Kunigunde. He also later placed the coronation orchestra on well-known solemn occasions and celebrations. Primisll Ottokar II. (1253 - 1278) was crowned on 25 December 126l in Prague with his consort Kunigunda with great pomp. The crowning of Wenceslas II. (1283 - 1305) and his wife Gutta, the daughter of Rudolf v.Habsburg, took place on 2 June in Prague in St. Veitsdom. Archbishop Gerhard of Mainz celebrated the concelebration ceremony. The royal insignia is called the crown, sceptre and coronation coat. A sword and a shield, on which a Bohemian lion was located, were given to the king. The second wife of the king, Rejčka of Poland, was crowned on the day after the wedding, i.e. on 26 May l303, in Prague Cathedral at the altar of St. Veit to the queen of Bohemia and Poland. The body of Wenceslas II was buried in l305 with the crown on the head and sceptre and imperial apple in the hands in the tomb to the royal hall. (1305 - 1306) was not crowned, but in the lifetime of the father a oath of allegiance took place. His sudden death prevented the coronation.
