I informed him that tomorrow at 12 o'clock the act would take place in the following form. In the Wenceslas Chapel of the Veitsdom in Prague, the German gentlemen invited to the visit and from the Czech side: the President with a companion and the deputy chairman of the government, Minister Dr. Krejči. After the receipt of the Reichsprotektor, in dewsen accompaniment the State Secretary is greeted, hereupon the speech Hächa and the answer of the Imperial Protector, then the opening of the door, the ascent of the coronation chamber, the opening incubator, the laying out of the Kroninsignia, a declaration about the gems and the necessary barrier measures. I read to Mr Krejči the words that the President should speak to the Imperial Protector and gave him a copy of the text. He seemed very satisfied with the fact that the Imperial Protector decided to return three keys again to his (Hácha's) care and explained that he was now "the one that the President of the State would take part in the act with joy and satisfaction. I asked him to speak immediately with the President of the Council and to give me a telephone call about his final decision and whether he would be speaking exactly as they were planned in the draft.
