Their sympathies are evident on the side of those who create a new world of work, which constitute a new socialistic community of European nations. They participate, disciplined and self-sacrificing, in accordance with their values, according to adequate performance in the construction and secure the fighting front through their reliable and tireless work in the hinterland. This their positive opinion is not disguised by any means. The trade unions, this instrument of the will and wishes of the Czech working people, knew the right way to find the German working people and their organs. Cooperation with the Germans, to which the Czech trade union movement has practically already come, is only a living echo of the internal needs of the Czech working people. It was the leading men of the trade union movement who, through their work, some have gained such confidence in the workers through their lifetime work, that they are their acknowledged speakers and who, precisely from the knowledge of the needs and desires of the people, have been able to convince doubting or wobbly individuals that this longing and this inner need must be expressed.
