Aw An den / Secretary of State at the Reichsprotektor in Bohemia and Moravia 14/I Prague The procurement of skis ordered by the OKH, which took place in consultation with the Reich's Protector's services and included the cities of Prague, Brno, Moravia, Ostrava and Pilsen, was completed on 8.1.42. A total of more than 46,000 pairs of skis were purchased with accessories, of which l8 railway wagons with 23.00 pair skis could be sent by 8.l.42 in the evening. The result has far exceeded expectations. Since these skis had already been tied up and entered, they were immediately capable of using troops and did not need to be unloaded in the army's witness offices so that the skis could be run there; as is required with those skis bought from factories and dealers. The OKH has been asked today whether skis are also procured from other cities, except the above mentioned ones.Jn mg gho For the Wehrmacht authorised representative The Chief of the General Staff e Ciyuy frs LZ ©t C I727e/42
