54 The conditions of participation The participation in this competition is open to all authors of German descent. However, it is provided that the submitted works are related to the Bohemian Moravian space or its problems. They must continue to be intellectual property and original works of the sender, may not be published yet and may not also be published or offered for publication at any other place during the period during which the prize is awarded. The length of the narratives must not exceed 25 pages of typewriters with 3o lines (about 15,000 syllables). All works must be submitted in machine script, described unilaterally in three copies. They must not bear the author's name, but must be marked with a password. The name, birthday, place of birth and address of the author and the title of the work shall be enclosed in an envelope bearing the same password. All submissions shall be addressed to the following address by 31 December 1994o: The verdict of the jury shall be delivered by the end of March 19941 and shall be published in the April issue of the journal "Böhmen und Mähren. By awarding the price, the publisher acquires the right of first-hand printing. Non-award-winning works can be acquired by the publisher. An obligation to distribute the price exists only if enough good work has been done. Likewise, it is reserved for the prize court to divide the suspended prices differently than intended. Liability for the submitted works cannot be assumed. Manuscripts sent in will only be returned if the return porto is included. By submitting works, the authors agree to the terms of the award.
