Eight years ago today, on January 30, 1983, the old president of the Reich of Hindenburg had put the fate of Germany in the hands of Adolf Hitler and, on the evening of the same day, when the SA, SS and Hitler youth marched past the Führer on Wilhelmplatz in Berlin, the march to the Great German Empire had begun - we are only quite aware of this today. Just as the movement on the memorable 9th of November l923 had once begun its victorious march to power - despite the apparent failure, on 30th of January l933 all of Germany, under the leadership of the same man, marched into the greater empire, into the kingdom of all Germans. Perhaps the customer of Adolf Hitler's appointment as Chancellor of the Reich had produced a considerable shock effect in the world. An uncertain fear paired with fanciful, dark "annoyances" in dené european and extra-European cabinet and parliament circles upon the arrival of the news of the seizure of power of the National Socialism. Also in Prague, the metropolis of the state; which emerged as the main profiteer of Versailles and was therefore xeitex since the first days of its existence in the service of the West against Germany, the breath of this city stopped when the news from Berlin was received for a moment. And yet in Prague, no more than in Paris, London, Warsaw or Brussels, the meaning of this day had been understood. The rulers, whose offices were in the cities mentioned above, did not realize that the torches on Wilhelmplatz in Berlin are the oaks of the resurrection of a people purified by the World War and the hateful dictation of Versailles, young people with unaltered dynamism in performance and will to design.
