Of course, first and foremost the wood production committee would have to work properly and smoothly, and an indispensable prerequisite would be that the wood quotas be made available on time. It is essential to achieve a reckless elimination of all services which could only hinder the delivery of orders and production. In order to ensure total involvement of the wood industry and small businesses in the important production of the defence sector, the Wood Production Committee would have to pay particular attention to compliance with the following points: 1.) Strongest control by the Armaments Officer's Office. Non-authorisation of less important activities for the civil sector. In-depth review of applications, in particular with dubious emergency decisions, 2.) review of all wood products and small enterprises (around ll ooo), merger of small enterprises for the purpose of full machine utilization, better use of space and rational production. 3.) Organisation of the timber surface construction programme, in the case of small-scale enterprises, the central office for the supply of handicrafts for the purpose of placing orders for military work. 4.) Registration of all woodworking machines and their planned use in enterprises which have been entrusted with important orders and have insufficient machines. 5.) General regulation of the labour input of wood workers.
