CENTRAL ASSOCIATION OF INDUSTRY Prague, 9 March 1945.te FUIR BOHMEN und MAHREN 1 3 MRZ. 1945 THE PRASIDENT To the sh-trb Mr. German Minister of State for Bohemia and Moravia SS-Obergruppenführer K.H. Fr a n k , Pr 2 9 IV.2 Czernin-Palais. Dear Minister of state! Due to their early order, the beer supply was limited to Wehrmacht and Armor and the supply to the civilian population was stopped. Despite the compelling reasons which were decisive for this order, I would like to point out that a certain mood of dissatisfaction takes place in the population due to the different handling in the rest of the Reich, especially in the neighbouring Sudetengau. The lack of beer in this area is particularly unpleasant, as the frontal area in Moravia is full of Wehrmacht troops. The field units are mostly located in villages in scourges and halls, so the soldiers try to get a beer in the village inns in the evenings, which as long as the inns are allocated small contingents, goes to the detriment of the local population and is completely impossible in the next few days after the complete cessation of the private beer allocation. I also think it is important that, in these areas, the civil St.M.\M-30 =/45 is already in place in the S ana daamaae t a because of the avoidance of misconduct in the frontal area.
